Tawana Houston
Chief Executive Officer

Tawana Houston was born and raised in Flint, Michigan.  She attended Mott Community College and Baker Business College in Michigan.  She is inspired by Oprah Winfrey, Russell Simmons and Sean “Ditty” Combs.  Tawana is very motivated, creative and enjoys working with her clients and staff.  She also enjoys developing marketing strategies and in creating and managing events. 

Ms. Houston created the LTP brand in 2003.  She started out managing local talent in Flint, Michigan.  Tawana managed rap artist, TDH, rap group, Politics and rap artist, Superviza JT, (cousin of the late rapper Proof of D-12 and former hype man for rap superstar Eminem). 

Being motivated and directed by God, she moved the business to Atlanta, Georgia in pursuit to land record deals for her clients. 
 
In 2004, Ms. Houston created the LTP Management Team, which included assistant manager and music producer, Reggie Bussey.

In 2005, Tawana managed R & B singer, Lola of Dallas, Texas and rap artist, KJ of Fort Worth, Texas.  After pursuing the music industry, she decided to focus on promoting businesses and stepped away from the music scene.  In 2006, Ms. Houston closed the management division and opened the public relation division, Limelight Top Publicity known today as LTP Public Relations.  

In 2008, Ms. Houston represented actress, Ronique Marshall, former assistant to R & B sensation Keyshia Cole, who was featured on the BET reality show “The Way It Is”.  Ms. Houston was introduced to Ms. Marshall by Keyshia’s mother Frankie, reality star of the hit BET show, “The Frankie and Neffe Show”.

Today, Ms. Houston represents several types of companies including authors, speakers, non-profit organizations and stage play producers.  Her dream, to brand and promote has come to past and her ultimate
goal is to assist each client in making their dreams come true
