Sharon "Ladee Storem" Acres
Writer/Director/Playwright/Producer

First I give thanks to God for giving me many talents to pursue my goals in life. Being in this industry has given me the drive to continue my dreams as a writer, director and producer until my major “breakthrough” comes.

Born in Lanett, Alabama my career started at a young age, singing in the church choir and becoming a song writer. In the later years I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and began performing and organizing “Stop the Violence” talent shows for youth and adults. As I advanced in my career I began taking acting classes at William Reynolds Agency, appeared in movies, directed videos and honed my writing skills. In 2006, I created a gospel reality TV show called Bible Talk/ Keep It Real that allowed gospel singers and holy hip hop artists to showcase their talents in a positive manner   Read More

My success as a playwright has allowed me to direct stage plays such as Wacky School Day and God the Angel and the Golden Butterfly. The latter was based on a novel from author Kim Smith that inspired me to write and direct her life story and bring it to life on stage. My latest project is the gospel comedy stage play I Loved My Man More Than God. It began touring the southern region in 2008, and we’re now looking forward to touring nationally in 2009. We’re bringing you a great cast of upcoming actors and actresses that are taking the industry by STOREM.

The production I Loved My Man More Than God tells the story about Nichole Gray. She’s a faithful Christian that believes in putting God first and living for him, until she meets Andre Palmer. For days she loses her faith, but through it all regains her spiritual dignity and puts the devil under her feet. She is reminded that the Bible reads, “you can’t serve two masters, either you’re going to love one or hate the other”.

My prayer is to find sponsors and investors who will believe in my dream and help take the gospel stage plays and inspirational movies that I’ve created to another level. I strongly believe in Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.” So, look for I Loved My Man More Than God to come to your church or a venue near you! I bet you go and tell somebody that” it’s gooood”! And will somebody please tell Oprah to call me! Thank you and many blessings unto you, you and YOU!
